At our Fall and Winter Camps, kids are age-appropriately partnered to build their dream LEGO cities and presented with numerous opportunities to grow self-confidence and leadership skills by problem-solving in face of real-life civic and economic challenges, in order to form a well-functioning society.
Fall LEGO camps with multiple options – from 1-day city-building camps to 3-day camps – with the lengthier option enabling kids to immerse deeper into their responsibilities. Children are exposed to various civic and economic topics, while solving various problems for their cities and facing challenges and crises along the way. They end the workshop evaluating city economy and overall citizen happiness, in addition to putting infrastructure, laws, and services in place — and of course, having lots of fun while doing so and while LEGO’ing away to their heart’s content!
Offered on staff development days, school holidays or in-service days – please see the schedule below and contact us if you would like a workshop to be added for your school.
COVID-related Update: We successfully ran our in-person camps this summer at our Los Altos and Belmont locations, while being in compliance with the county health orders and guidelines and while observing utmost precautions. We expect to run our Fall camps, with the same level of safety and precautions at our two locations in groups of 12 or smaller, in accordance with the current county health guidelines.
