Kidizens is an innovative educational environment where students build and inhabit their own LEGO city. We encourage collaborative and guided discovery of real-world concepts in children ages 6-11 by leading them through a journey role-playing as leaders and having fun in a universe built of LEGOs.
Our goal is to inspire kids to become great citizens and future leaders, one LEGO brick at a time. We believe that our teaching and learning philosophies nurture critical thinking skills, preparing kids for the 21st century. Our mission is to inspire kids to become great citizens and future leaders, one LEGO brick at a time.
Not Just LEGO Building!
Research has shown that students learn more when they are provided with fun and interactive experiences that engage their senses and stimulate creative thinking. By registering your child for Kidizens, they’ll not only get play with LEGOs, they’ll learn important life skills including:
At Kidizens we believe that exposure to these concepts early on is the foundation of lifelong learning and civic engagement. Our program is built around the three C’s: City Building, Community, and Civilization. Join us to find out more about Kidizens classes!

18-week session, where children collaboratively build and learn the day-to-day civic and economic concepts of managing a city, and as such develop design thinking, problem solving, social and leadership skills.
Kidizens serve on a city council and may run for an elected position as Mayors, judges, doctors, lawyers, fire chiefs, sheriffs, safety inspectors and in many other roles, while improving
self-confidence and developing leadership skills.
The Kidizens also manage city budgets, enact laws, cope with natural disasters and crises.
They also interact with other cities and cooperate on various issues, as they develop problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
Teachers provide historical and local perspectives through lessons on related civic and
economic topics and guide students to learn through the consequences of their own actions while encouraging “out of the box” and critical thinking.
Many engineering and robotic elements are intertwined into various city units (motorized
controls, draw bridges, moving conveyor belts, sensors and lights) to teach kids basic concepts in science and engineering.
Exciting field trips to the local City Hall, Stanford Design School or History Museum, Recology Center, scheduled as per availability, convenience, and community safety.
