Why Kidizens?

Welcome To Kidizens

Kidizens is an innovative educational environment which encourages collaborative and guided discovery of real-world concepts while role-playing and having fun in a universe built of LEGOs.

At Kidizens, we are building responsible, future leaders, one brick, one project, one city at a time. Our mission is to cultivate creative, critical and civically responsible thinking that can be the foundational pillar of future learning in life.

Kidizens Build, Learn, Lead, One Brick at a TimeTM

Would you like to leverage your love of LEGOs to learn real-life skills and strategies?

At Kidizens, we build responsible future leaders: one brick, one project, one city at a time. Our mission is to inspire children to develop the 21st century skills they need in order to become good citizens, civically engaged, and the responsible future leaders of tomorrow. We believe that our city-building framework cultivates a deep understanding of how societies form, function, and evolve.

Highly immersive and interactive Real-life Experiences Inspire Learning and Leadership

For children who love LEGOs and are looking for opportunities to collaborate with peers and develop 21st Century real-life skills and strong social and emotional skills (SEL) and in a fun and interactive social learning environment, we offer Kidizens.

Every day in the life of a kidizen is different. The kidizens either serve on a city council during a year-long class or role play as mayors, entrepreneurs or other important city leaders during a camp or a workshop. Some days they may be focusing on building a new highway, electing a new official, making tough budget decisions, or reacting to a city emergency. They learn how to propose laws, offer amendments and debate from the floor of our city council chamber.

A unique experiential journey with building blocks of life

The guiding principle of the Kidizens program is to offer a highly immersive, experiential learning environment for kids that nurtures their creative confidence, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. We believe that when kids are engaged in a project that they find meaningful and exciting, their desire for knowledge is limitless.

With more than a thousand square feet of green building space and countless LEGO bricks, kidizens build their own small-scale cities where their decisions have real impact on others.
