As summer approaches, many families are looking for experiences that keep children engaged, inspired, and learning in meaningful ways. At Kidizens, we believe the most powerful learning happens when children are actively creating, collaborating, and exploring through play. That’s why this year’s summer camp theme, Global Cities, invites campers in kindergarten through fifth grade to design and build cities inspired by communities around the world using LEGO, imaginative problem-solving, and hands-on challenges.
Through play-based learning, children step into the roles of city planners, engineers, mayors, and innovators as they explore what makes cities thrive. Campers will work together to create transportation systems, solve environmental challenges, manage resources, and design communities that reflect different cultures and ideas. Along the way, they naturally strengthen skills in critical thinking, collaboration, communication, leadership, and creativity—all while having fun and staying deeply engaged.
At Kidizens, play is never “just play.” Our camps are intentionally designed to help children build confidence, curiosity, and real-world problem-solving skills in an environment that feels joyful and exciting. Global Cities summer camp gives children the opportunity to think big, work together, and imagine the future—one city at a time.
