We continue to be excited about our Young Kidizens program as a perfect beginning to the Kidizens program. Our unique constructivist framework of city-building, role-playing and social learning enables groups of younger students to take on a guided discovery of real-life concepts. While the overall concept and experiential learning philosophy of Kidizens runs through all problems, our curriculum for the “Young Kidizens,” is designed specifically for the target age group of 6-7 (and young 8’s), with the goal of simplifying many civic and economic concepts and bringing them to life with many play-based elements.
Exciting Field Trips to the local City Hall, Stanford Design School or History Museum, Recology center, scheduled throughout the semester as per availability and convenience.
In all, the kids will explore, build, have fun, and interact in a socially rich environment, without even realizing that they are continually learning the everyday important lessons of life.
Due to COVID, we are NOT offering any in-person classes this Fall. Please check out our Online Fall Young Kidizens classes here.
Please also check out our in-person, Fall 1-day and 3-day camps offered on school holidays, for a wonderful immersive, exciting LEGO experience at one of the Kidizens’ locations in Los Altos or Belmont.
We can put together a 12-14 week customized session for homeschooling groups, special workshops, and Girls’ and Boy’s scout clubs as per the convenience of their schedules. Please email us at [email protected]
