Lego® Leadership Camps SF Bay Area

Dive into a play-and-project-based LEGO city-building and business-building adventure 

for a fun learning summer experience!

Campers collaborate to plan, construct, govern futuristic cities, and launch businesses while building
critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, confidence, and leadership skills.

Kidizens teaches children to be responsible future leaders, one LEGO® brick at a time! During our excitement-packed LEGO summer camps, creativity and imagination come alive through a play-and-project-based, fun LEGO® city-building adventure! Our Young Builders and Young Leaders collaborate to build their dream cities, exploring concepts like sustainable architecture, transportation, green spaces, and more – all within a highly immersive and engaging LEGO® universe.

Campers role-playing as city leaders develop 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, problem solving, SEL, and leadership, while they tackle real-world civic challenges, natural disasters, and economic constraints. Whether they are solving a crisis, designing a futuristic transit system, or an eco-friendly skyscraper, campers will be encouraged to blend creativity and engineering principles, dream big, and create sustainable cities of tomorrow!

A highly engaging 1-week experience

A combined session with Young Builders (6-8yrs) building creative cities through imagination and play, alongside Advanced Builders (9-11yrs) role-playing as city leaders to tackle real-world civic challenges, natural disasters, and economic constraints to create cities of Tomorrow
 

Young Builders: Ages 6-8: Play, Build, and Dream
In a highly engaging, play-based camp experience, the Young Builders bring their fun, creative city-building ideas to life. Our young city architects and builders work in small teams to build their dream cities through imagination and play, while interacting with their peers and LEGO’ing to their heart’s content.

Young Leaders: Ages 8-11: Solve, Create, and Innovate
For the older campers, Kidizens provides a project-based, highly immersive experience that challenges them to build and lead futuristic cities, focusing on innovation and sustainability. Collaborating in teams, campers address the needs of their LEGO® citizens, tackle real-world problems and budget constraints, while honing their creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills.

Entrepreneurship:
Launch a Business

A rich, comprehensive, 2-week experience!

For the second week, campers continue building and managing their city, while putting on the additional hat of a Young Entrepreneur to launch and manage businesses!

Building further on the futuristic themes from week 1, the campers have a choice to build highly innovative and creative LEGO businesses while learning about money, advertising, and other economic and business concepts as well as developing effective communication skills and building self-confidence!

Young Entrepreneurs Ages 6-8: Collaborate & Build
Our younger entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to develop a “light bulb” idea, while role-playing as a business owner. Whether they are running a trendy toy store or a cool pet shop, these budding entrepreneurs will handle everything from product creation to advertising and customer service while erning teamwork, problem-solving, business and money management.

Business Leaders: Ages 8-11: Innovate and Lead
In this comprehensive experience, Business Leaders will shape the future of their LEGO® city through innovative business ideas and learn what it takes to be successful in the world of entrepreneurship. The Business Leaders will design, build, and launch their very own LEGO® businesses. From constructing their storefront to balancing their budgets, these innovative business leaders will tackle the challenges that real entrepreneurs face. Along the way, they’ll develop the critical skills of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective communication, while learning how to make smart business decisions.

Kidizens builds future leaders!

At Kidizens camps, your child will work with similarly aged children in teams to build an entire functioning LEGO city while addressing the growing needs of their LEGO citizens! Throughout the day, the campers are engaged in LEGO city building interspersed with thought-provoking discussions, problem-solving scenarios, as well as exciting games, quick quizzes, role-play opportunities, and more!

Camp Timeline:

  • 9:00am: Drop off and Warm Up Building

  • 9:10am: Morning Discussion – Introduce daily theme

  • 9:30am: Collaborative building based on discussion

  • 10:15am: Outdoor Snack Break and games!

  • 10:30am: Discussion / Presentation / Building Instructions

  • 10:50am: Collaborative building based on discussion

  • 11:50am: Prepare to go outside for lunch

  • 12:00pm: Fun lunch break and outdoor play

  • 1:00pm: Return from lunch for a fun, interactive game or quiz relating to our daily theme

  • 1:30pm: Collaborative building based on game theme

  • 2:40pm: Daily Reflection Meeting

  • 3:00pm: End of camp / Beginning of aftercare

  • 5:00pm: End of aftercare
